Connecting
WebDAV
Nextcloud, ownCloud, NAS devices and any WebDAV server, over HTTP or HTTPS.
The address
Choose WebDAV (HTTPS) and enter either a host name or the full WebDAV address. Many services keep WebDAV under a path:
| Service | Address |
|---|---|
| Nextcloud | https://cloud.example.com/remote.php/dav/files/USERNAME/ |
| ownCloud | https://cloud.example.com/remote.php/webdav/ |
| Synology | https://nas.local:5006/ |
Plain WebDAV (HTTP) isn’t encrypted; use it only on a trusted local network.
Signing in
Enter your username and password. BlazeSCP sends Basic authentication over HTTPS and switches to Digest automatically when the server asks for it. For Nextcloud and ownCloud with two-factor login, create an app password in your account’s security settings and use that.
Certificates
As with FTPS, a self-signed certificate is shown with its fingerprint and can be trusted and pinned. See FTP and FTPS.
What works
Browsing, uploads, downloads with resume, rename and move, copies on the server, new folders and deletes. WebDAV has no permissions, so Get Info shows details only.
