Questions

Is BlazeSCP really free for personal use?+

Yes. The Personal plan has every protocol and every security feature; paid plans add commercial use and support.

What does “quantum-safe” mean here?+

When an SSH server supports it, BlazeSCP agrees session keys with a hybrid post-quantum key exchange (ML-KEM-768 or NTRU Prime, each combined with X25519). Traffic recorded today can't be decrypted later by a quantum computer. With older servers it falls back to classical key exchange automatically, and the app tells you which one you got.

Where are my passwords stored?+

In your operating system's keychain (macOS Keychain, Windows Credential Manager, or the Secret Service on Linux), never in a file or on our servers. BlazeSCP has no account and no cloud component.

Does BlazeSCP collect telemetry?+

No. The only request the app makes on its own is the update check, which you can turn off in Settings.

Which platforms are supported?+

macOS (Apple silicon and Intel), Windows 10 and 11 (x64 and ARM64), and Linux (.deb and .rpm, for amd64 and arm64).

Can I use BlazeSCP from an AI assistant?+

Yes. BlazeSCP runs a local MCP server that Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Codex CLI, Claude Desktop, Cursor and other MCP clients can use to list, add and edit your servers, browse connected servers and check transfers. It only listens on your own computer, and passwords are never shared with the assistant.
